Laura Baker Services Associations will welcome U.S. Senator Tina Smith’s staff to discuss Minnesota’s priorities to make health care more affordable and accessible. The discussion will take place in the Assembly Room at Laura Baker Center on the Laura Baker Services campus (211 Oak Street, Northfield), on Friday, September 7, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
This event is one in a series of meetings that Senator Smith’s staff are conducting across the state to bring Minnesota perspectives on health care costs to Washington, D.C.
A strong proponent of accessible, affordable, high-quality health care for all, Senator Smith has fought to protect, improve, and expand access to health care coverage for Minnesotans.
Sandi Gerdes, executive director at Laura Baker Services Association, says, “We look forward to welcoming Senator Smith’s staff to LBSA. The organization has long advocated for affordable and accessible healthcare for the sake of our clients and our staff and we’re thrilled that Senator Smith’s staff is interested in hearing more from our team.”
